Nat King Cole's autograph is one of the most sought-after by Americana collectors. One of the pioneers of the small jazz ensemble, Cole was a pianist and vocalist who recorded over one hundred hits.  The first black man to host a television series, "The Nat King Cole Show," he was a pure entertainer and performed on Broadway, television and in film. He passed away in 1965 at the young age of 46.

Featured here is a vintage Cole autograph in blue 6/10 ball point pen on the sweet spot of an Official National League (Giles) baseball. The autograph is a tad off center in the sweet spot while the ball has some soiling and toning throughout. Overall condition of the ball is VG-EX but there's plenty of white spots throughout. This rare specimen came to us from the collection of the son of former big leaguer and Dodgers staffer, George ("Sam") Vico. Includes full LOA from Beckett (A32026).
