This is the stuff that museum curators would arm wrestle for: Sam Jones' own NBA Championship Ring from the 1968-60 season, the final year of an unmatched 11-year run that included 10 titles for the famed Celtics. A fourth-place finish at 48-34 in the NBA's Eastern Division might have hinted to a league's worth of world-weary opponents that the time was at hand to unseat the Celtics, but all concerned would have to wait one more year for that giddy moment. An aging but remarkably balanced and capable squad boasted six players averaging double digits in scoring and a seventh just missing at 9.9 PPG (some guy named Russell). Jones, the quintessential shooting guard en route to the HOF in nearby Springfield, Mass., averaged 16.3 PPG, third best on the club behind John Havlicek and Bailey Howell. This 10K Gold Jostens ring sports a large diamond atop a silver mount and Celtic green stone encircled by the words "Boston Celtics World Champions 1969. On one shank is the name "Jones" atop an engraved NBA basketball and Celtics shamrock; and on the other "Samuel" and the impish Celtic's figure. The Size 11 1/2 ring is in pristine condition and is problem free and comes in its original black felt display box.

Comes from Sam Jones' personal collection and includes a Letter of Authenticity supplied by the Hall of Famer.
