Offered is a game worn helmet from one of the most dominant linebackers of all time. Hall of Famer Mike Singletary helped the Chicago Bears win Super Bowl XX against the Patriots in 1985 and would continue to lead the "Monsters of Midway" well into the next decade. This nave blue Riddell Chicago Bears helmet is one of the hall of famer's that was used during his career. The iconic orange colored wishbone "C" is affixed to each side of the absolutely pounded and banged up helmet. "Riddell" logo is front and center with the navy colored horizontal facemask attached to the front. The "Bears" logo is affixed to the white vynil covering that overlaps the lower back shell and the "warning" label sticker is in gold lettering on a blue sticker adjacent the colorful "NFL" shield that is also affixed to the rear. "Inspected by 2805" is stuck to the inside left of the helmet. This particular helmet features a tremendous amount of game use, evidenced by numerous scratches and blemishes. Singletary was constantly hitting and making plays, so it's no surprise that his game used helmet would be so pounded. Singletary mentions in his LOA that accompanies the helmet that this particular shell was used for multiple seasons and that this particular face mask was from the 1992 season.
