Presented here is a remarkable 2003 gamer from one of the key figures in the history of the San Diego Chargers, the great running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who spent most of his Hall of Fame bound career in San Diego. In 2003, "LT" racked up 1,645 yards on the ground with 13 rushing touchdowns. He also made 100 catches out of the backfield for another 725 yards and 4 TD's. His 2,370 yards from scrimmage that year is the 4th most all-time. Stacking up those kinds of numbers the rest of the decade has earned him a solid gold ticket to Canton in 2017. For his career, LT is #5 all-time in rushing yards (13,684) and yards from scrimmage (18,456), #2 in rushing TD's (145) and #3 in total TD's (162).

This sensational home jersey reveals excellent game use, including some dirt and sweat staining, numerous contact marks, a few team repairs and some fraying to the delicate stitching. The size 48 navy blue gamer boasts Tomlinson’s famed No. 21 on the front and back and sleeves in gold, navy and white, with the NFL Shield logo above it at the “V” of the neck and the commemorative “JB” embroidered patch at the left shoulder in memory of former GM John Butler. Tomlinson’s name is on the back in white tackle twill affixed to a navy nameplate, with the esteemed Charger lightning bolts embroidered on each shoulder. The Reebok embroidered logos appear on each shoulder and strip tags at the collar denote "03-48" and "S". Difficult to conjure a more significant artifact for San Diego fans, coming from a beloved player in the modern era who turned out to be one of football's best ball carriers ever.
