Longtime Detroit Pistons coach Chuck Daly coached the 1990 NBA Eastern Conference All-Star squad to a 130-113 victory on February 11, 1990. The game was played at the Miami Arena and Daly had the East All-Stars clicking on all cylinders. His roster of outstanding talent had seven players scoring in double figures that afternoon with Michael Jordan leading the way with 17. This lot features an official NBA Spalding basketball boasting the signatures of 20 NBA All-Stars across both the East and West squads. Daly always had a way of blending talent. Top signatures from the East team include Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Robert Parish and Kevin McHale. From the West team comes the majority of the signatures including game MVP Magic Johnson, James Worthy, David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, John Stockton, Kevin Johnson, Chris Mullin, Tom Chambers, Rolando Blackman and A.C. Green. A terrific piece of basketball memorabilia from the personal collection of the late coach.
Includes copy of LOA from Terry Daly, Chuck's widow. Also comes with Letter of Provenance from Rich Behar, owner of SportsCard Central, who acquired many items directly from the Daly estate in 2010.
