Beautiful early 1900's Bachrach & Brothers "The Champions of 1894, '95 and '96" real picture postcard features the Baltimore Orioles, winners of 3 straight National League pennants from 1894 through 1896. Fascinating postcard actually pictures the 1894 Baltimore Orioles team, winners of 24 out their last 25 games to capture their first National League pennant. On this team were 7 future Hall of Famers - Manager Ned Hanlon, 1st baseman Dan Brouthers, shortstop Hughie Jennings, 3rd Baseman John McGraw, left fielder Joe Kelly, right fielder Willie Keeler, and catcher Wilbert Robinson. Unused postcard displays better than the given technical grade with one crease, more prominent on the back, responsible for the VG rating. Postcard is perfectly centered with a crystal clear image. Corners are VG to EX or a little better. The only VG 3 and the highest graded card ever handled by either SGC or PSA. Once again, a real eye appealing piece!
