This is a beauty and a treasure, a game-worn and signed rookie-era cap from Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson, transporting you back to the Age of Aquarius just in time to witness the start of a fabled career. Few sluggers have started as quickly as Reggie: after brief call ups early in the year and then in September of 1967, Jackson launched 29 homers in 1968 and then upped the ante to a league-leading 47 in 1969. The Size 7 3/8 Tim McAuliffe Inc. cap is in nothing short of superb condition, showing good game use while remaining essentially as-issued and problem-free. Jackson's No. 9 is written in marker underneath the bill of the cap; Jackson has provided his autograph in black marker as well as "My game worn A's cap" in near perfect 9/10 black felt tip pen, also under the bill.
