The work of Arthur K. Miller is often referred to as "The Art of the Game." The supremely talented artist from coastal Maine has made a name for himself in the sports industry by depicting ballplayers from bygone eras in his own richly detailed, inimitable style. This fine Miller portrait painting of the tragic Black Sox legend “Shoeless” Joe Jackson represents the artist at his best. The depiction of Jackson from that fateful 1919 season, is an oil on board rendering measuring 11x20" framed. The painting is artist signed and signed again on the back along with the title “Color Study: Joe Jackson” and date “2000”. Beautifully presented in its original gallery frame.
