January 6, 1960 Last Will and Testament of Claire Ruth has a few interesting provisions. One bequeaths her adopted daughter, Dorothy R. Perone, $100 because she was "amply provided for by her father, the late George H. "Babe" Ruth". In the the other she bequests to her daughter, Julia R. Stevens, "all the trophies and personal effects of my late husband,"George H. "Babe" Ruth". Clair Ruth has signed the front page on the left border and also on the 2nd, at the end of the will, in perfect looking 9-10/10 dark blue ink. She has also initialed a change in the will (her address) at the to center. In the upper left corner in pencil has been written "Superseded". Document in great condition.
