How can you overstate the signifcance of a World Series game-worn and signed from the rookie season of arguably the greatest hitter in the American League? The seven-time All Star, two-time MVP and 2012 Triple Crown winner donned this [size] "48" black Russell Athletic jersey during 2003 World Series in his rookie season. A Florida Marlins 10-Year Anniversary patch is situated on the left sleeve and the jersey features a unique four-color tackle twill arrangement, highlighted by silver spackle twill identifiers. Tail tagging includes the Russell Athletic tag and size 48 fabric flag tag, along with a "+2 inches Extra Length" smaller tag attached. The verso numerals show minmal minor fraying of the stitching and on the World Series 100th Anniversary patch on the right sleeve. This was the only season Cabrera wore "20." A great gamer from one of baseball's top young talents. the jersey shows light game wear; the Marlins issued players new jerseys for the 2003 World Series, which is consistent with the wear on this shirt.
