Eventual NBA Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett made an immediate impact with the Minnesota Timberwolves when he arrived in 1995, leading them to eight-consecutive playoff appearances. In 2004, Garnett led the Timberwolves to the Western Conference Finals and won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award. Since his second season in the NBA, Garnett has been named to 15 All-Star Games, winning the All-Star MVP award in 2003, and is currently tied for the second-most All-Star selections in NBA history. After 12 standout seasons in Minnesota he moved on to the Boston Celtics, where he has been an integral part of the resurgence of that fabled franchise, helping to lead them to their first NBA championship since 1986. On this 1998-99 Timberwolves game-worn home jersey, the team name and numbers are crafted in three-color formation with silver spackle twill built in. A tree motif is captured on the neckline and both shoulder ends. Four Velcro strips are instituted into this, a staple of Garnett gamers during this time period. Sewn in the tail are these tags: Timberwolves Starter exclusivity (Velcro fraying), size "50", 4" L.B and "98-99 Set #2" (sewn over another tag). On the upper-left front is the iconic NBA logo patch. The shorts have the Starter exclusive label with "21 Set 2" hand printed in black marker, with three adjacent attached small labels: "Size 42", "1" HR" denoting 1 inch higher rise, and "2" L.I." denoting 2 inch longer inseam. The uniform shows good game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. LOA from Grey Flannel.
