This is a neat lot with considerable value, with four complete sets and a fifth album of intriguing odds and ends, starting with an Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt 1973 Topps Baseball set (660), and solid Nr-Mt to Mt Topps sets from 1974 (704 cards with the 44-card Traded included) and 1977 (660 cards). The fourth complete set is the popular 1983 Topps reprint set of its coveted 1952 issue, found here in the blue box with seal (broken); the cards appear to be in Nr-Mt condition, while the box has issues on several corners (one repaired with tape), and even a tear along the cover. The final album is one of those curiosities that would fascinate old-time collectors: perhaps 300-400 items at least, with star cards from the 1980's, early Topps inserts, regionals and food issues, Kellogg's, TCMA, Pepsi Discs, Hostess panels, dozens of schedule cards, postcards, vintage Topps and Bowman cards and even a sheet of Lou Gehrig stamps. In short, a bit of good fun after the serious business of high-grade vintage Topps sets. We sent the Mike Schmidt Rookie card to PSA for grading and it came back NM-MT PSA 8.
