The Jets' incredible upset of the NFL Champions Baltimore Colts in only the third Super Bowl ever posted a major turning point for the fledgling American Football League, soon-to-be American Football Conference when the full merger was completed. This Size 12 Balfour 10K ring has faux diamonds creating a football-shaped centerpiece on a New York Jets green backdrop, encircled by "New York Jets World Champions 1968." One side has engravings of Namath, the Jets helmet, his No. 12 and 'Poise,"; the other has Super Bowl and the word "Execution," plus intricate logos from the AFL. Comes in an attractive red-and-white display box; ring is essentially in as-issued and problem-free condition. Ring size 11 3/4.
