1961 Cleveland Indians pin stripe home jersey game worn by pitcher Russ Heman. Heman, a right handed pitcher, was a lifetime minor league player, spending most of his baseball career from 1952 through 1963 bouncing between several organizations, with just a "cup of coffee" in the majors in 1961. He pitched in 6 games for the Indians before being sold to the expansion Los Angeles Angels on June 5th where he appeared in another 6, all with no decisions, before being sent back to the minors for good. He did make it onto a card as a Cleveland Indian in the 1959 Topps Baseball set. Jersey appears unaltered and completely original. "Wilson Size 46" and "1961" tags at front left tail. "Indians" across chest with Chief Wahoo patch on the left sleeve and Heman's #20 on the right. Back has large "20". Jersey exhibits some light soiling/staining, mainly at the upper left sleeve and around the collar. Great looking 1961 totally original game worn jersey.
