1959 Cleveland Indians pin stripe home jersey game worn by pitcher Bob "Riverboat" Smith. Smith, a left handed pitcher, was a lifetime minor league player, spending the first 9 years of his baseball career in the Boston Red Sox organization from 1951 through 1958, then bouncing between several organizations until his retirement in 1963. In 1959 he did appear in 12 games for the Indians. He also made it onto a card as a member of the Red Sox in the 1958 Topps Baseball set. Jersey appears unaltered and completely original. "1959" tag in the back collar. "Wilson Size 44" tag at front left tail. "Indians" across chest with Chief Wahoo patch on the left sleeve and Smith's #28 on the right. Back has large "28". Jersey exhibits some light soiling/staining, mainly at the upper left sleeve and a few small holes. Great looking 1959 totally original game worn jersey.
