Fairly well matched 1951-52 Laval Dairy QSHL set with the majority of the blank back cards appearing to be in the EX to EX-MT range with a few better and some worse. The Quebec Senior Hockey League (QSHL) was an ice hockey league that operated between 1941 and 1959 in the Provence of Quebec, Canada. From 1941 through 1953 it operated on an amateur basis, but in 1953 it became the semi-professional Quebec Hockey League (QHL). Hockey Hall of Famer, Jean Beliveau, who played 20 seasons with the Montreal Canadiens and won 10 Stanley Cups, was probably the most notable player to ever play in the QSHL. He is still the 2nd leading scorer in Canadiens history, behind fellow Hall of Famer Guy Lafleur. Beliveau is pictured in this set as a member of the Quebec Aces. Key Cards are: #1 Beliveau VG, 37 Imlach VG-EX, 43 Campeau EM/NM, 76 Blake EM, and Plante EX+/EM(about 1/16" short. In doing research some recent information indicates the cards might have actually been produced by Bedard & Donaldson Ltd.
