On October 8, 1956, New York Yankees battery mates Don Larsen and Yogi Berra made history. Pitching in Game 5 of the World Series, Larsen, working in an unusual "no-windup" style, threw the only postseason perfect game, and the only postseason no-hitter until 2010. With Berra as his catcher, Larsen struck out seven Brooklyn Dodgers in helping the Yankees take a three games to two lead over “Dem Bums.” They would eventually win that season’s Fall Classic in seven games, with Game 7 turning out to be a 9-0 rout. This framed, black-and-white 11”-by-14” photograph shows Berra leaping into Larsen’s arms following the 2-0 game’s final out. It boasts strong signatures of both Berra and Larsen in fine-point blue marker with Larsen adding a personalized inscription to teammate Moose Skowron: “To Moose, All My Best. Don Larsen, PG 10-8-56.”

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family
