Offered here is a double-seat pairing from original Yankee Stadium, aka “The House That Ruth Built." Constructed in 1923, the iconic Bronx ballpark served as the Yanks' home until 2008 when it was demolished for the current stadium under the same name. The most recognizable architectural feature of Old Yankee Stadium was its beautiful white façade around the inner roof area. 26 of the club's 27 World Series titles came within its hallowed grounds.

The two attached, modernized seats are light blue with darker blue cushions. They are numbered "3" and "2", respectively, on small silver plaques located on the upper part of the seat back. These just so happen to match the uniform numbers of two of the franchise's greatest players: Babe Ruth and Derek Jeter. A nice symbolic bridge from the team's earliest legend to its most contemporary hero who will be enshrined in Cooperstown next year. The seats remains in great shape, with wood-based feet additions for prolonged preservation. Each seat comes with MLB Authenticated holograms (LH505304 and LH5051645).

PLEASE NOTE: Due to size and weight of this lot, the cost of shipping may be substantial. Freight will likely be required. We encourage the buyer to arrange his/her own shipping.
