Nice grouping of three letters from the Pirates' team president through much of the 1930's and 1940's, all three on his official stationery and signed 8/10 in blue ballpoint pen. Letters are in Nr-Mt condition and deal largely with ticket requests from various individuals; lot also includes an Ex-Mt condition copy of the Sporting News (in its original mailer) that includes an article about Benswanger.
