The Seattle Post-Intelligencer presented this unusual star-shaped glass award to Warren Moon after his retirement, taking note of the Hall of Fame quarterback's two seasons as a Seahawk toward the end of his career in the late 1990's. A five-pointed star roughy 7 1/2 inches high and 3/4 of an inch wide sits atop a 12-by-4-inch glass base. The newspaper's logo appears in an intricate engraving at the top of the star, above "Seattle Post-Intelligencer Publisher's Award, January 24, 2007." The words "For Decades of Sustained Excellence" are engraved on the base above Moon's name. All elements of the piece appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition.

LOA from Warren Moon.
