Warren Moon's underdog Washington squad upset Michigan's National Championship aspirations with a 27-20 win in the 1978 Rose Bowl. The Huskies quarterback ran for a pair of touchdowns and threw for another as the Huskies prevailed, handing Michigan its second loss of the campaign. Moon was name Player of The Game for his standout performance.

Directly from Warren Moon's personal collection comes his 1978 University of Washington Rose Bowl Champions ring. This Size 11 Balfour 10K gold ring is in superb condition, as issued. The ring has "Balfour 10K" engraved on the inside of the band. "University of Washington" in raised letters encircle a large purple stone on the rings face: one shank has "Huskies" atop the school's mascot and "Rose Bowl 1978" beneath and the other has "Moon" atop a sculpted Washington football helmet and "Pac 8 Champions 1977" below. The ring comes in a black-felt presentation box that is in the same exemplary condition as the ring itself.

LOA from Warren Moon.
