Nice pair of trophies awarded to Dodgers Hall of Fame manager Walter Alston, both issued in 1974 by the Penn Central Family Club. First is his 1974 National League Manager of the Year trophy after guiding L.A. to a 102-win season and N.L. pennant. It stands 32.5" tall and weighs 9.5 lbs, with a 13" by 7" wooden base featuring a bronzed figurine ballplayer in batting stance. The top section has a smaller batter flanked by two jubilant athletes with raised arms. The bottom batter's bat has broken off, but the piece is included and can be reattached professionally.

The second trophy honors Alston's 20th season as manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers with a tall 38" high trophy. It has a 12.5" by 5.5" wooden base with smaller 9 x 3.5 x 4 high platform featuring a ballplayer in base-running stance, plus a batter on the very top. Overall, it weighs 6.5 lbs. and comes essentially as-issued and problem-free. Two nice pieces to commemorate the Dodger franchise's most successful skipper of all-time.

Includes a letter of provenance from the Alston family.
