Ronald Reagan was the 40th President of the United States who served consecutive terms in office from 1981 to 1989. Prior to his presidency, he served as the 33rd Governor of California (1967 to 1975), which followed a long and distinguished career as an actor and union leader in Hollywood.
This lot features a Reagan single signed ONL (Giles) baseball with a striking black ink autograph on the sweet spot that rates 8/10 in our book. Based on the manufacturing era of the ball (1952-69), Reagan may have signed this ball as California Governor. The off-white baseball is in EX shape with some soiled panels and what appear to be bat contact marks from use. This is one of the finest Reagan singles we've had the pleasure of listing.
