Golf collectors, feast your eyes on this one-of-a-kind display showcasing the 1991 Grand Slam with autographed golf balls from each of the four major winners! The pyramid-shaped wooden podium measures 24.5" wide, 8" tall (at its tallest) and 4" deep. "1991 Grand Slam" is engraved across the front and a large metallic nameplate with the PGA Tour and USGA logos heads the top of the display. There are four smaller nameplates presented in chronological order (left to right), each one representing a different major with the event logo and details including date, course, location and winner in 1991. Each podium spot for the respective major winner has a rounded indentation in the wood to hold the golf balls in place.

We start with 1991 Masters Champion Ian Woosnam, who won his first and only major at Augusta National. The Welshman known as "Woosie" is 6th all-time with 29 career wins on the European Tour. He held off Jose Maria Olazabal by one stroke to win the green jacket. The 'Slazenger 1' golf ball stamped with the Masters logo is signed by Woosnam in 8-9/10 black pen.

Next is Payne Stewart who won his 1st U.S. Open in 1991 at Hazeltine G.C. in Chaska, MN. The American legend known for his sweet swing, classy attire and gentleman's demeanor defeated Scott Simpson in an 18-hole playoff to capture his 2nd of what would be 3 major championships before a tragic flight in 1999 took his life. Stewart has signed an official 1991 Hazeltine U.S. Open 'Ultra 1' golf ball in 9 black marker.

Third, right of center, is British Open Champion Ian Baker-Finch, who won his first and only major at Royal Birkdale in Southport, England. Starting the weekend in 28th place, the Aussie came back to win by 2 strokes and claim the coveted Claret Jug. He has signed an official 1991 Royal Birkdale Open Championship 'Maxfli 4' golf ball in 8-9 black marker.

Finishing off the Grand Slam in 1991 was John Daly, who won the PGA Championship in what may be the biggest surprise ever for a major championship. The unpolished, crowd favorite was more likely to win a long-drive competition than a PGA tournament. Lucky to even qualify as the 9th alternate, Daly prevailed by 3 strokes at Crooked Stick G.C. in Carmel, IN for his first of two majors. He has signed an official 1991 Crooked Stick PGA Championship 'Tour Edition 1' golf ball in 9 black marker.

Overall, the piece is in excellent condition. The wooden base is unblemished except for a minor 1/2" chip at the top rear corner. This special display comes courtesy of a collector who attended many sporting events as part of his profession.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
