Outstanding two-page handwritten letter from Ty Cobb on his personal stationery dated 11/10/53. In the letter Cobb proposes corrections to some personal information to be included in a book about famed NY nightclub owner Toots Shor. Cobb goes so far as to accuse Shor of plagiarism in the letter and makes off-color comments regarding Indians stating "While an Indian is all right there are only a tribe or so that furnishes qualifying people." Cobb ends the missive with "As ever Ty". All writing rates 9/10. Letter is EX-MT with typical folds and a paperclip mark at top. LOA from PSA/DNA.
