Hall of Fame catcher and manager Gabby Hartnett joins fellow Hall of Famers Bill Terry and Ty Cobb on this 1951-1959 Reach Official American League Harridge ball. All three stars signed the same panel in blue ball point, an oddity for Cobb as he usually signed in his unique green ink pen. The ball has overall toning from age and there are several darker stained areas throughout., most likely from storage. An adjacent panel has been signed by Don Griffin, a young catching prospect who played in the Red Sox, Tigers and White Sox organizations from 1946-1956. This the second of two same themed multi-signed balls from the Lou Brissie Collection.
