Nice threesome of Olympic collectibles from the monumental 1936 Berlin Summer Games.

The medal is very scarce as it these were only presented to German medal winners at the 1936 Berlin Games! Von Tschammer und Osten, whose face is featured on the front, was the head of all the sports in Germany that were united under him in the Third Reich. On the reverse, "In Anerkennung Einer Hervorragenden Leistung Gegeben Vom Reichssport-Fuhrer" translates to: "In recognition of an outstanding performance presented by the Reich Sports Minister." The menu is an original menu of the Olympic Village, dated June 12, 1936. The cover was done by famous German artist Franz Hohlwein, who also designed the official 1936 Berlin Games poster. Advertising its name on the bottom is "NORDDEUTSCHER LLOYD BREMEN” (in English, "North German Lloyd Bremen"), a famous German steamship company founded in 1857. The company took on the responsibility of feeding athletes from all countries in the Olympic Village before and during the games. It measures 6" by 9.5" and unfolds to display items in German on the left and English on the right.

The "WAMPOLE'S CREO-TERPIN for Coughs due to Colds" advertisement is a green card measuring 3.5" by 6". It honors the 8 Olympic Champions from four countries with small art depictions of each athlete, highlighted by Jesse Owens on the top left.
