The great Tony Gwynn was named the San Diego Padres “Player of the Month” countless times during his prolific 20-year, Hall of Fame career as a member of the team. This lot includes a specially designed crystal chalice with side handles that has the following writing engraved across the front: “Player of the Month, San Diego Padres” with the Padres team logo positioned just below it. No date is given. The crystal trophy measures nine inches wide by 12 inches tall and weighs seven-and-a-half pounds.

A portion of the proceeds generated by the Tony Gwynn Collection will be donated to the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation. The TAG Foundation is a non-profit, 5013(c) charity dedicated to creating and supporting programs that enhance opportunities for youth to become healthy, educated, and productive citizens.
