Spectacularly splendid ceramic "cards" of the Splendid Splinter, including an oversized (6 by 4 inches) version of his iconic 1956 Topps card, this time with a genuine 9/10 Ted Williams autograph in bold blue Sharpie directly atop the facsimile signature on the card. Manufactured by R & N China Co., under licensing from Topps, the four ceramic "cards" include as-issued versions of his 1939 Play Ball rookie card and his 1958 Topps; the final "card" is a 2 1/2-by-3 1/2-inch information piece with a photo of Williams affixing his signature to the 1956 Topps card. The four pieces are elegantly presented in an 18-by-6-inch wooden box, with the ceramic cards protected by plastic cases and embedded in a black felt backdrop. All elements of the piece are in as-issued pristine condition and come with a 5 1/2-by-8 1/2-inch information card that supplies information about his remarkable career.
