An aesthetically superior example of the most widely coveted object in the sports collectibles arena is offered here. Babe Ruth's bold fountain pen signature (8/10) adorns the sweet spot of this OAL (Harridge) baseball. The ball itself is only slightly toned to a pleasing creamy off-white color and is without any serious blemishes. The manufacturer's stampings are somewhat light which is a small burden to bear considering the ball's overall aesthetic quality. Though not discernible to the naked eye PSA/DNA has determined that small inscriptions (one being a date) have been removed from the north and south panels. Nonetheless it's enhanced appearance ranks right up there with the hobby's premier Ruth singles. LOA from PSA/DNA.
