A fire at Fenway Park in 1934 prompted a four months reconstruction project. The improvements included a new 37-foot tall sheet metal wall that replaced the previous wooden left field wall. Later the structure was painted green and the Green Monster was born. This rare program was issued for a Testimonial Dinner in honor of Red Sox President Tom Yawkey and Vice President and GM Eddie Collins in conjunction with Fenway's 1934 re-opening. Yawkey's rare signature appears next to his image on the interior as does that of Collins and guest speaker Connie Mack. All signatures are bold rating 9/10. A light pencil notation appears on the cover. EX condition. LOA from PSA/DNA
