Here we present a delightful early card of one of baseball's rising superstars, Fernando Tatis, Jr., as a Fort Wayne Tin Cap (San Diego Padres affiliate). In 2017, Tatís played 117 games for the Fort Wayne Tin Caps Class A Midwest League on his ascent to major league stardom.
This card, in the style of Topps' beautiful 1967 design 50 years earlier, has been signed by Tatis, Jr. in bold blue Sharpie and authenticated by Beckett. His penmanship matches the flair of his on the field style!
The card is so crisp that we pondered having it graded, but decided it spoke for itself in the fine Beckett autograph holder. Not many Tatis, Jr. signed cards better than this!
