Sugar Ray Leonard is a retired professional boxer, motivational speaker, and occasional actor. He was the first boxer to earn more than $100 million in purses, won world titles in five weight divisions, and defeated future fellow International Boxing Hall of Fame inductees Wilfred Benítez, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler. Leonard was named "Boxer of the Decade" for the 1980s. This lot includes a custom-made, red, white and blue Jeff Hamilton two-sided jacket that was once owned by the former champ. Custom made by Jeff Hamilton, the jacket sports leather on one side and satin and leather on the other. A pair of white boxing gloves are outlined on the back of the jacket with “Sugar Ray Leonard” written across the back in script. The jacket includes seven Jeff Hamilton style brass buttons. Uniquely designed for Leonard, the jacket shows plenty of daily wear.
