The St. Louis Cardinals have produced dozens of Hall of Famers and have won a total of 11 World Series titles, the second most of any Major League club behind only the Yankees. Four of those standout Redbirds that earned Cooperstown induction status are represented within this lot of six single-signed baseballs. The late, great Stan Musial, a 7-time NL batting champion who was affectionately known as “Stan the Man,” signed two of the balls. Musial signed an Official California League baseball on the sweet spot in 6-7/10 red ink and also an ONL (Feeney) ball on the sweet spot in 9/10 black marker, which shows slight bleeding. Two other ONL (Feeney) balls were signed by HOF speedster Lou Brock in blue, while Curt Flood – the player who changed the MLB landscape with regard to free agency – signed one more on the sweet spot in 9/10 blue fine-point marker. Lastly, flame-throwing right-hander Bob Gibson signed an All-Star Official branded ball on the sweet spot in 7/10 blue ink.

Includes letter of provenance from the daughter of a longtime MLB executive whose name will be revealed to the winning bidder. Balls pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
