Baseball Commissioner's Award given to the Los Angeles Dodgers Steve Garvey for being named the Most Valuable Player in the 1974 All-Star Game, held July 23, 1974 at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. Garvey went 2 for 4 with a run scored in a 7-2 National League victory. Wood and metal trophy stands 18" high on a 7 3/4" by 7 3/4" base. "Baseball", "The Commissioner's Award", "Most Valuable Player", "All-Star Game 1974", and "Steve Garvey" engraved on the front. Some tarnish to the metal on the front. Slight ding to front left corner. Very impressive trophy!
