The Los Angeles Angels were thrilled to pickup the pitching and hitting phenom, Shohei Ohtani before the 2019 season began. His initial performances for the club were so impressive, pundits were beginning to whisper comparisons to the Bambino himself. After a devastating injury and a surgically repaired elboy (Tommy John's) Ohtani is back for the shortened 2020 season and ready to make a real impact on the game. Ohtani's playing days began in his home country of Japan and he is adored and beyond superstardom back home. His former professional ball club was the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.

Presented here is an Ohtani signed Nippon professional baseball on-field style jersey. The flashy yellow and baby blue road jersey has two sponsors on the right sleeve in Japanese chaaracters. The left sleeve has the team logo and name above navy blue background. "Hokkaido" can be found across the chest of the button down jersey with Ohtani's autograph neatly placed in 8/10 black sharpie on the left side below the city name. Shohei also includes his number "17" in his autograph. Accompanied by a full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services (A27263).
