The Los Angeles Angels were thrilled to pickup the pitching and hitting phenom, Shohei Ohtani before the 2019 season began. His initial performances for the club were so impressive, pundits were beginning to whisper comparisons to the Bambino himself. After a devastating injury and a surgically repaired elboy (Tommy John's) Ohtani is back for the shortened 2020 season and ready to make a real impact on the game. Ohtani's playing days began in his home country of Japan and he is adored and beyond superstardom back home. His former professional ball club was the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.
Presented here is an Ohtani signed Nippon professional baseball on-field style jersey. The white home jersey includes a sewn on patch from sponsor "TXT Garage Pro Shop" on the right sleeve. "Fighters" an be found spelled out in blue with red borders across the chest and the tagging is in Japanese characters so we can't make out what it means. Overall a clean jersey with a beautiful 7-8/10 black sharpie autograph from the MLB prospect. Comes with a full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services (A27265).
