Authentic 1934 Japan All-American Baseball team engraved silver Dignitary Passes presented to Lefty and June O'Dea Gomez. Connie Mack along with a team of American ballplayers toured 14 cities in Japan, playing 18 games against the All-Nippon Japanese baseball team. Babe Ruth and Lefty Gomez were among some of the highlighted players on the trip, which sparked the interest of many of the Japanese fanbase. These Dignitary Passes for Lefty and June O'Dea Gomez were used for access to events throughout the team's time in Japan as they needed to be issued unique identifications. The passes remain in excellent condition and were sourced from the Gomez family where the passes were kept for over 50 years. They read "VERNON GOMEZ" (MRS. VERNON GOMEZ for June O'Dea), "ALL AMERICAN BASEBALL TEAM", "1934", and "JAPAN" engraved on the front along with an American Flag-colored emblem. Rear is stamped with "J.E. Caldwell & Co." Excellent and historical pieces of baseball's past and the beginning of the international interest in the game.
