Fans at the September 27, 1998 Cowboys-Raiders game in Dallas had no idea they were witnessing a moment of NFL history. In the 3rd quarter, Cowboys QB Jason Garrett threw a pass to Michael Irvin which was intercepted by Oakland rookie Charles Woodson. This would be the first of Woodson’s five interceptions that year, which culminated in him being named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Woodson would turn in an 18-year pro career and shares the NFL record for the most career defensive touchdowns with Ron Woodson. Already a member of the College Football Hall of Fame since 2018, Woodson was voted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021. This full ticket to the September 27, 1998 game shows just very light wear with some corner dings and surface abrasions. The ticket does not appear to have been folded except along the perforated section at the top of the piece. The ticket has been encapsulated and graded Authentic by PSA.
