You could make the case that the first basketball "Dream Team" was the USA's 1960 Olympic Gold Medal winning squad, which captured glory on the hardwood in Rome, Italy. Led by co-captains Oscar Robertson and Jerry West, the Americans went 8-0 and blew away their competition with an average margin of victory of 42.4 points. Along with the individuals that eventually became basketball Hall of Famers, including the team's coach Pete Newell, the 1960 Olympic squad was also inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as an entire team (just like the '92 Dream Team).

Presented here is a superlative PSA authenticated and encapsulated full ticket from the 1960 basketball competition in Rome. The ticket itself is a work of art and an amazing basketball relic, but that it is beautifully autographed by the icon Oscar Robertson makes it even more of a delight. Robertson has delivered his full signature, along with the special inscription "1960 USA Gold." PSA/DNA has graded The Big O's penmanship a strong 8.

Another important fact: the ticket is dated [in Italian] September 1st. Team USA just so happened to take on Yugoslavia in Group B play that day, absolutely destroying them by the score of 104-42. The Gold Medal game was held nine days later on Sept. 10th, with the U.S. beating Brazil in a nail-biter (figuratively, of course), 90-63.

This is a crossover treat for basketball fans, ticket collectors and Olympic aficionados.
