Beautiful, if not fragile, September 6, 1907 New York Yankees at Philadelphia Athletics scored program picturing Rube Waddell on the cover. Program has been scored in pencil with two games represented in the scoring so perhaps this was a double header or used on more than one visit to the ball park. Six pages, cover to cover and filled with period advertisements and instructions on how to keep score. The score page has separated from the bottom staple but is still attached to the top. Evidence of rust appears around the staples and a small bit has transferred to the pages creating a minor stain ont he paper surrounding the staples. One of the advertising pages has pencil marks all over it covering about 1/5 of the page and it appears that this program was folded once vertically at some point. The vertical fold has flattened nicely and is very difficult to notice on the front and back covers. All in all a wonderful piece of turn of the century Philadelphia Athletics memorabilia. Technically VG but eye appeal is much stronger.
