Nolan Ryan finished 1974 in style by tossing his 3rd career no-hitter on Sept. 28 vs. Minnesota. Ryan fanned 15 Twins that night and then duplicated the feat the following June when he no-hit the Orioles. The Express pitched through painful bone chips and a muscle pull, striking out nine O's and valiantly defending the slim 1-0 lead. This no-no tied Ryan with Sandy Koufax as the only pitcher to record four career no-hitters. When put together with his 1973 and 1974 no-hitters, this made Nolan Ryan the first player in history to throw no-hitters in three consecutive seasons. The June 1, 1975, victory also happened to be Ryan's 100th career win on his way to 324 in his Hall of Fame career.

The full field box ticket for Ryan’s 3rd no-hitter is graded a PSA Good 2 and shows toning from age. The full ticket for Ryan’s 4th no-no is a terrace level seat that has been punched/canceled and graded "Authentic" by PSA, with significant staining on the front and back. According to the PSA pop report, this is the only 1974 3rd No-Hitter full ticket ever encapsulated. The 1975 4th No-Hitter full (punch canceled) is 1 of 2 known.
