What more could any aspiring Little Leaguer ask for than to own a genuine Louisville Slugger bat just like their favorite ballplayer? This eye-catching display poster showcases the line of player-endorsed bats offered by the company for 1958. The players depicted throughout the poster are a who’s-who of the greatest players of the day including Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Ernie Banks, Yogi Berra, Duke Snider, Al Kaline, Hank Aaron, Frank Robinson, and many more. Because the pieces were printed on very thin stock and were often discarded when no longer needed, surviving examples of this poster are exceedingly rare, and this is one of the finest in the hobby. So far as our consigner and we are aware, this is the only known example in existence. The poster shows minimal toning and edgewear, though none that really distract from the color and visual impact of the piece. The display poster has been professionally matted and framed to enhance the color and eye-catching qualities of the piece. We have not seen this unique excellent condition piece offered in a long time. This amazing piece has been professionally matted and framed in protective UV glass.
