When another example of this Babe Ruth premium was cataloged as part of the famed Sotheby's Copeland Collection sale in 1991 it was described as "Recently found only known copy to exist.". Since then this is the only other example we have seen and we have never seen this particular image of a young Babe Ruth in any other form. Issued by the Pathe' Freres Phonograph Company of Brooklyn N.Y. circa 1921 it measures just over 7 by 9 inches. The reverse shows a printed account of all of Ruth's home runs in 1920 with dates and opposing pitchers listed. Apart from a clipped lower right corner (margin only) this extraordinarily scarce Babe Ruth collectible remains in attractive EX condition.
