Offered here are a pair of extremely rare cleats worn in game by three-time MVP and Yankees legend, Mickey Mantle, dating to the 1960 season. The size "10" Rawlings fleetfoot cleats show excellent game wear. The black leather body and hard leather soles show considerable wear with what looks like baseline or batters box paint still embedded in the cleats. The Hall of Famer's footwear displays the correct size, style and label for the era. Handwritten in vintage marker on each tongue is "7 Mantle" and his player number "7" is also marked on each sole. The cleats are accompanied by a full LOA from JT Sports (signed by John Taube).
