In 1961, while the Yankees were riding their home run kings to another World Series championship, rookie hurler Rollie Sheldon quietly contributed to that goal with a stellar 11-5 debut season. The following season, the Yankees won again in a stirring 7-game series win over the San Francisco Giants. Mr. Sheldon, who was 7-8 that second season, was issued this Hillerich & Bradsby block-letter (last name only) bat for use in the 1962 Fall Classic. This blonde "K55" model declares "WORLD SERIES 1962 - SHELDON - NEW YORK YANKEES" on the barrel. The bat has been signed by Sheldon below the barrel stamp in large black Sharpie (10/10). The uncracked item shows little to no use, as Sheldon did not appear in that year's World Series.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
