Between the three of them, Robin Yount, Rod Carew and Don Baylor registered 8,330 career hits in the big leagues. Yount and Carew, in fact, both eclipsed the magical 3,000-hitmark and now find themselves residing in the hallowed halls of Cooperstown. This lot includes three game-used bats from the aforementioned threesome. The 35-inch Rod Carew H & B Louisville Slugger professional model (# C243) bat shows ample game use and includes a noticeable crack/break along the entire barrel area that appears to have been restored back together. The 35-inch Robin Yount Louisville Slugger professional model (# P72) bat also shows game use and includes Yount’s uniform number (“19”) on the knob of the bat and his signature on the barrel in fine-point black marker. Finally, the 35-inch Don Baylor H & B Louisville Slugger professional model bat (# R161) shows outstanding game use with bat rack marks, contact marks across the barrel and plenty of pine tar throughout the handle area. It also includes Baylor’s uniform number (“25”) on the knob area and a clubhouse signature of Baylor with “1979” next to it, which was the season he was named the American League’s MVP. Great collection of gamers from three major league mainstays who came to play every day.

Yount autograph is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
