Hall of Fame forward Rick Barry was a nearly unstoppable offensive juggernaut, a passionate competitor with an untempered desire to win. Barry is the only player ever to lead the NCAA, NBA, and ABA in scoring. His name appears near the top of every all-time offensive list. He scored more than 25,000 points in his professional career and in four different seasons averaged more than 30 points. He was named to 12 All-Star teams, four All-NBA First Teams, and five All-ABA First Teams. In addition to his fiery competitiveness, Barry’s other trademark was his odd underhand free-throw shooting style. Odd, but effective, Barry's .900 career free-throw percentage was the best in NBA history. Manufactured by Wilson, Barry’s Golden State Warriors road jersey is completely original and unaltered, showing solid game wear. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturers size 46 tag with wash instructions. Attached below is a well worn flag tag. To the left is a gold felt strip tag with the data “46 74 5” in blue chain stitch. On the front is the team name “Golden State Warriors” with the classic state of California logo screened in blue. On the front and on back is the player number “24” in blue screen print. Across the back is the player name “BARRY” in blue tackle twill. The numbers on both sides show significant wear, more so on the reverse. Overall, the jersey shows outstanding game-use, remaining completely original and unaltered. Rick Barry was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987 and chosen among the NBA’s Top 50 Greatest players in 1996.
