This lot offers Knicks legendary coach Red’s Holzman’s pair of Madison Square Garden floor pieces including one autographed by his star point guard Walt Frazier. The primary floor piece rests in a bronzed basketball holding stand inscribed “KNICKS 1970 1973”, with Frazier's autograph and his nickname "Clyde" inscribed in thick black marker. The second blank floor piece sits within a ball stand inscribed “KNICKS SEASON SUBSCRIBER”. These original MSG floor pieces from 1970-73 show obvious signs of historic game use from the Knicks' pair of championship seasons led by Hall of Famers such as Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Bill Bradley and Dave DeBusschere to name a few.
