Beautiful piece of original artwork by artist Larry Tyson featuring legendary Boston Celtic coach Red Auerbach, smoking a "victory cigar" waving his NBA Championship rings while sitting in the rim of a basket. Visible area of outstanding condition artwork in almost 15" by 13 1/2". Awesome piece has been framed to a size of 20 1/8" by 21 1/8". Older wood frame shows some wear with a number of nicks. Artwork can be seen hanging in Red's office at the center on page 60 of the auction catalog. Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
